Becketts Stair Components Return Policy
Returns are limited to stock purchased within 30 calendar days (from the date of the closing invoice). Returns and exchanges are subject to a 25% to 30% restocking fee (depending on the specific vendor's warehouse). Custom orders, clearance items, and sale products are Non-Returnable. Any parts that have been altered, installed, or otherwise modified may not be returned. Only standard "in stock" items are eligible for return.
The customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping and may choose any preferred shipping method. If a pre-printed label is requested for the return using Becketts Stair Components' FedEx or UPS account, you will be charged for the cost of the return shipping.
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper; however, in many cases, you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

Shipping Information
Stair part orders are shipped directly to the customer from the manufacturer's warehouse or from the manufacturer of a specific style. Please note that Becketts Stair Components is not responsible for delayed, lost, or damaged freight.
We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.
Shipping Invoices & Estimates: Shipping costs are not included in the checkout price. After your order is submitted online, we will calculate the shipping costs based on the availability and dimensions of your items. You will then be contacted separately and invoiced for the shipping charges, at which point we will also provide your estimated delivery dates.
Damaged Parts Received: Material must be inspected upon delivery and any damage must be reported within 5 business days. When signing the receipt of LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) Shipments, it is highly advised that you sign and add "pending hidden damage" to your delivery receipt. Otherwise, LTL freight carriers will automatically deny any hidden freight damage claims.
Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight- or length-based. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all item weights will be rounded up to the next full pound. Handrails over 8 feet in length will only ship via LTL Common Carrier, as both FedEx and UPS will not ship lengths greater than this limit.
